A/V Coferencing-Whiteboard - Format Objects

Any object (including Line, Rectangle, Paint, High lighter, Arrow, etc.) used for drawing on the White board can be formatted as per requirements. User can change the background, foreground colors, Size and other parameters as required. This is made possible using the Format bar at bottom of White board. In here, we explain different parts of the Properties toolbar and their functions. 

 

The Properties toolbar appears as follows.

 

 

 

The table below gives a summary of some key features and includes instructions to use the same.

Red Oval 
Specifies size (height, width) as well as location of Object. 
This set of text boxes specify size/location of currently selected object.
  1. x : X coordinate of location of object.
  2. y : Y coordinate of location of object
  3. w : Width of object
  4. h : Height of object
 
Green Oval 
Specify line (Foreground) Color 
This helps specify the current line (Foreground) color. To draw with new line (Foreground) Color,
  1. Click on icon.
  2. That will bring up a color dialog.
  3. Choose a color in that dialog and that will be used as the Line (Foreground) color in object to be drawn.
  4. To disable/enable the functionality of Choosing Foreground/line color, click on icon.
 
Blue Oval 
Specify Fill (Background) Color 
This helps specify the current Fill (Background) color. To draw with new Fill (Background) color,
  1. Click on icon.
  2. That will bring up a color dialog.
  3. Choose a color in that dialog and that will be used as the Fill (Background color) in object to be drawn
  4. To disable/enable the functionality of Choosing Background/Fill color, click on icon.
 
Yellow Oval 
Specify line width and transparency of Background 
These combo boxes specify the current Line width as well as the transparency of the background
  1. The top Combo box specifies Line width of current object. A line width can have a value from 1 to 100.
  2. To choose a new line width to be used in drawing an object, enter the value in Edit box or use the slider.
  3. The bottom Combo box specified the transparency of the background / Fill Color. Transparency varies from 1 to 100 and lower the value, more transparent (or lighter) the color.
  4. To choose a new background transparency to be used in drawing an object, enter the value in Edit box or use the slider.
 
Black Oval 
Navigation of Document 
When a multi page document is loaded onto White board, this section can be used to navigate the pages of the Document
  1. Clicking on takes user to first page of document.
  2. Clicking on takes user to previous page of document
  3. Clicking on takes user to next page of document
  4. Clicking on takes user to last page of document
